Has anybody thought the same as me? Release Management appears to do exactly what the Deployment process do in the ICT Infrastructure Management discipline. Actually the ICT IM manual says that the Deployment process uses the same principles as Release Management. I don't understand the difference... Why should we have two teams? one for deployment and another for Release?
In my opinion I found the Deployment process some complementary concepts, specially that its handles deployments as projects.
I wish to know if somebody has noticed about this and get some good opinions.
