ITIL V2 is a library of books that include:
* Service Support
* Service Delivery
* Planning to Implement Service Management
* Application Management
* ICT Infrastructure Management
* Security Management
* Software Asset Management
* The Business Perspective: The IS View on Delivering Services to the Business
The 10 Processes and 1 Function that are covered in the Foundation, Practitioner, and Service Manager level certifications are all based on the first two books: Service Support and Service Delivery. There is a small reference to the Security Management book, but it is just an overview and reading the entire book isn't necessary for passing the exams.
I have read some of the Planning to Implement and Application Management books, and they contain good information, but there is no certifications based on them.
ISEB do have a course and qualification in Planning , Implementing and Improving Service management - see their web-site _________________ Liz Gallacher,
