The Washington State Department of Information Services (DIS) is currently recruiting for an IT Service Management Analyst (ITS 4) for a project position with an expected duration through July 2009.

As the technology leader for Washington State, DIS provides innovative enterprise services so that government agencies can successfully serve the public; DIS also provides support to the Information Services Board (ISB).

This position is responsible for maintaining the DIS IT Service Management (ITSM) software solution toolset and providing technical solutions using advanced C# and .Net design and programming skills.

As a senior-level specialist in both the technical and business aspects of IT Service Management, you will be responsible for applying advanced technical knowledge and considerable discretion to evaluate and resolve complex tasks such as design and development of the ITSM tool software solution; conducting business process planning; basic project administration tasks; developing and implementing quality assurance testing and performance monitoring of the ITSM Tool; acting as a liaison on the development of ITIL processes; representing institution-wide IT Service Management standards and philosophy at meetings. Understanding the customer's business from the perspective of a senior business person and being conversant in the customer's business language.
