VG

ITIL is not concerned about things like this per se

This is an operational issue in one respect
A security issue in another respect (security Mgmt (ISO27001)
A change & release issues ( installing & updating s/w)
an incident issue as to the virus

Now is this a desktop or server issue

No matter what.... this is more incident mgmt than problem mgmt
