Has anyone provided a detailed breakdown cost of a Root Cause Investigation and its Corrective Action on a single Problem from an embedded partner/Supplier/3rd Parth/Vendor?

If so what accounting/ITIL measurements and metrics were used even if this was required to use with the Business Case?

Thanks for the reply.

Are there any good links or templates for the GAAP method and is it more of an American procedure?
