EMC Computer Systems, the world leading vendor with regard Information Infrastructre Solutions are currently forming a new team with regard to Data Centre Transformation.
Due to the dramatic rise in the amount of data created by organisations over the last few years, a number of our customers now have very unstructured and inefficient data centre environments and it is our aim to streamline, automate and virtualise these environments at the same time as using this opportunity to lay down structured and efficient ITIL processes.

EMC Computer Systems, the world leader in information storage management and Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), are currently recruiting for an ITIL Consultant to work within the London / South East area.
Reporting to the Infrastructure Consulting Practice Manager/Director, an ITIL Consultant is responsible for supporting the sales and delivery of Infrastructure Consulting Solutions primarily within UKI but not excluding EMEA.
An ITIL Consultant will support Solution Principles in scoping and positioning solutions within the presales environment and will also be expected to participate in and manage the delivery of EMC solutions which are expected to be complex and highly technical in nature focusing primarily on Data Centre Transformation.
Ideal candidates for this role will have an understanding of IT Service Architecture skills (ITIL V3 or equivalent preferred), be accredited to ITIL Manager or Practitioner level, proven Pre Sales / Consulting skills, the ability to work effectively with Senior Management as well as the ability to work in a matrix environment.
Finally, the ideal candidate will an overview and knowledge of Data Centre operations (Server and Storage), Data Centre Automation/Transformation, Virtualisation as well as process mapping, process automation and associated automation software.
