Hi,
I'm sure there are many funny things happened in relation with ITIL.
Here's one:
In the preparation of a company's anniversary event, the Event Organizer (EO) came to the Project Leader (PL) of the event.
EO: Sir, I think we need to redecorate the stage
PL: Quick, raise a RFC
EO: ???
Not strictly ITIL humour, but I hope it will raise a chuckle for some folk reading this forum.
I was involved in the systems development lifecycle where we needed more licenses for Test Director software. There were very, very long delays in getting the budget approval for these. It transpired that when going up the 'food chain' for approval the problem had been some 'chinese whispers' along the way - the top management had been questioning the need for a 'test director' (extra head count at a senior level - perhaps the amount of money involved illustates the number of licenses that were purchased and/or the cost of the software!!!).
