Hi all,
I'm not sure if there is any ITIL "best practice" advice out there for managing CIs in a Virtual environment.
I would like to hear from anyone who has had to implement Configuration Management for Virtual CIs and how they dealt with the creation and removal of these CIs to/from the infrastructure and how they assessed risks involved in the near-constant evolution of the Virtual infrastructure.
Also, how would you Change control Virtual CIs that might be created and removed within a short time period but which might impact services by their creation/removal?
