Hi,
I'm looking for inputs in transforming existing IT Services cost model from Fixed Priced/ T&M based to Output Based Services cost model- . Charge to the customer based on delivery you make. E.g. £x per incident (based on complexity/priority), or £y per hour for change request (based on some condition) or charge 1000 hrs to the customer for n incident, etc.
Any thoughts or documents in this also the challenges that could be involved in migrating an existing model to new OBS cost model.

How can you charge for incident resolution? That is not part of the service it is part of fixing the service so that it works. Each incident reduces the benefit of the service and thus its value to the customer. The charges should be negative. _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."
