I am an official ITIL process geek =) But then I also believe that the day I stop learning and collaborating is the day I find a new line of work. And as I’ve learned more, I’ve discovered that Process design is truly framework independent, and it’s not an easy skill – either you’ve got it, or you need training to get it. I was fortunate to have a mentor who was a whiz at Process design and was more than willing to share his info.
At any rate, I was looking for something new and exciting to keep me busy and I ran across a Certified Process Design Engineer class leading to an accreditation by Loyalist.
It covers all sorts of useful information (that I wish I’d learned the easy way and not in the school of trial and error), including process definition, flowcharting, process requirements, turning metrics into something useful, organizational change management – that sort of thing.
Has anyone else heard of a class like this? And would it be worth my time?
I found it on the ITSM Academy website – I’d post the link, but I know that it would get deleted. _________________ v3 ITIL Expert
