This is the third occurrence.
I'm raising a problem record for this now.
someone had better sort out the priority pdq. or we will have an infestation. _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."

That's for the technical people to work out. It depends on the output from RCA. _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."

Chaps,
I think you've gotta have a little fun on these boards. Ok this is our profession, but man it can be dry if you don't spice it up. For example only you two, so far, actually seem to pick up on when I'm doing the serious-but-daft thing, and that makes it even funnier for me.
Most questions being asked here can be answered with the 'how longs a piece of string response?', but copying and pasting that isn't particularly exciting.
So when people ask lazy/repeat/just plain daft questions I personally can't resist reply with something very dry and very stupid.
And if you can't think of a daft response then you should refer them to The 'Sixth Book' and let them spend a couple of weeks searching on Amazon for it.

Hey, I am having fun with it. It is a whole lot more enjoyable than ripping into the idjit.....which was my usual response
The alternate title for the Sixth book is
Servicing Service Anomalys
or
In Development In Operations Terms Specifically
One is backwards.. one is an abbreviation _________________ John Hardesty

Yes, very good, I'd go with either of those. I think the more incoprehensible the title the better!
I'd also like to recommend a primary process for this book called Intelligence Management. _________________ Did I just say that out loud?

Best. Thread. Ever.
Although it does make you wonder if ITIL humour doesn't quite work? After all, who's to deem whether it's funny or not? Is there a standard? |

... there shall be no funny standard just a "best practice" guidance around what is to be considered funny and what is not.
It will take many revisions to iron out this "best practice" on what is funny and what is not and by the end of it all I don't think anyone will be laughing.

Maybe you did not do so well in the Delivery modules? _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."

Surely "Exit... stage left" comes from Hanna Barbera's Snagglepuss character?? Also find of saying "Heavens to Murgatroid!!"
Do I win a copy of the book? I assume it's leatherbound with gold leaf edges...? _________________ When I say 'CCR', please read 'RFC'. |
