i don't really know if this forum is the right place to ask this question.
I'll see.

I have to find (abstract) similarities between ITIL and heterogenous networks. I have really no idea right now and hope, somebody can give me tip or clue. Do you know what these two things could have in common...

ITIL, the standard for service management on the one side and heterogenous networks, which guarantee communication between different protocols, os or even different transmissionways on the other side.

Does somebody has an idea and can help me?
Sorry for my horrible english.

My view of the world is quite simple: heterogenous networks, which guarantee communication between different protocols need to have in some form or another:

Incident Management
Problem Management
Configuration Management
Change Management
Availability Management
Business Continuity

............. as without these, you cannot guarantee communications.
