Hi, I m Lubna. I m currently working as a Service Desk Exec and am preparing to do the ITIL V2 foundation cert. I have also worked as a QAP for an ISP. Recently after posting my resume on Naukri and Monster I m getting good openings for managerial levels however during the interview i have been asked to describe ITIL Subsets, can anyone tell me if Security management, ICT infrastructure management, Business perspective, application management and Asset management are the subsets of V2 along with Service delivery and Service Support. Also if there are any good openings for shift manager or Helpdesk manager in any firm can anyone please let me know?

hi Lubna
have done any research on this? Some very superficial net surfing should help you find some high level information which for the purpose of job interviews shood be enough. There is plenty of general information out there. Good luck with your job searching _________________ DYbeach

Although the other boks you m ention are excellent, and a knowledge of their contents can only help, th vast majority of people never read them. I would concentrate on knowing Service Support and Service Delivery. Buy those 2 books and read them thoroughly, especially Support. You should then find the V2 Foundation easy, and be able to talk knowledgeably about ITIL at interviews _________________ Liz Gallacher,

Thank you All for your replies. I sure am going to concentrate on Service Delivery and Support Support. Our Company has given 2 days of ITIL training for V2 and have also provided with some notes, hence I m currently using it to prepare for the exam. Will let you all know once I clear the exam and get certified in the meanwhile I am also searching for a position as Helpdesk/Servicedesk manager.
