|
|
Hi All,
Can someone tell me what sort of questions could be asked in an interview for ITSM Service Co-ordinator? Also, can someone tell me what sort of questions can be expected in an interview based on ITIL?
Thanks in advance,

The questions will be
1 - What is your name
2 - What is your quest
3 - What is your favourite color
4 - What is the airspeed of a swallow carrying a cocanut
These and other inteviewing questions can be found in the sixth book of V3

Seriously, the short answer is It depends
Seriously, the long answer is it depends
If I was going to interview some one for an ITIL role,
I look at the CV to see if ITIL training has been done
I would ask whether they used the trainin in their past role
how they would use the trainining in the role they are trying to get
I dont know what a ITSM Service co-ordinator is as I have never head of that.
I would wager to guess it has to do with either the SD or Service level mgmt
The thing is - what sort of questions DO YOU THINK the interviewer may ask
check out interviewing / job sites for more relevant details
or read the sixth book

Hi vampirephenom,
Great name by the way.
Viking's right, what is the role?
If you post the role description we can give you an idea of what sort of things would challenge a candidate against the objectives within it.

Oh and Viking,
I've just updated Book Six with a new appendix: 'Calculation Table for Animals Carrying Tropical Fruits in an ITIL environment'.

What kinds of fruit? Lychees, rambutans and longans are much smaller and lighter than coconuts or durian. And what kinds of animals? Elephants? Tigers? Spider monkeys? Pythons? What is the maximum weight and number of units that any of these animals should carry?
Is there a CMDB? _________________ DYbeach

No the table doesn't specify animal species or fruit erm, genres as there are too many.
The table displays animal to fruit ratios based on the following equation:
S = H(X/Y) x C(PXS)
V x M(A/F)
Where:
S = Service Desk call response rate
H = Overall furriness ratio (X = Furriness of animal) (Y = Furriness of fruit)
C = Overall cuteness (P = Cuteness of animal) (S = Cuteness of fruit)
V = Velocity of animal
W = Overall weight ratio (A = Animal) (F = Fruit)
I think that's pretty self explanitory. Ahem.

IT service co-ordinator in an SM context?
Service co-ordinator with massaged image?
