I have noticed that this topic is beginning to leak into other threads.
Drove to Glasgow on Saturday; somewhere just north of Carlisle the downpour stopped and right on the Glasgow city boundary the sun came out.
Came back yesterday; first heavy rain was just after Gretna.
Today it is pouring in N-u-L.
Will someone please create some vacancies in Scotland so that I can get a job in a good weather country! _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."

It was a standard change
no approval need
known risk and impact - you get wet.
known and tried and true implementation plan - dust in the air and water vapor form clouds clouds get saturated with water. water gets released
known back out plan - hard to implement - clouds move to new location _________________ John Hardesty

Ed if you weren't so genuinely pleasant I'd think you were being uber smug. So, as long as you've brought us all a bottle of wine we can forget all this miserable weather....
Oh, and DYBeach, thanks for those tips, it's possible I'll reach my breaking point soon.
Diarmid - Just remember in Scotland the temperature only hits double once a year.

I thought that talking about the wine might be too much - sod it here goes!
Chianti Classico, a deep red wine with a fruity bouquet with oakey notes, bought in a 5 litre glass carafe for less than 21 euros (£17.22 or US$31). Smooth as silk and 14% - fanbloodytastic _________________ Regards
