Thanks Adam

Looks like you guys over the pond are getting a better service than we Europeans

Has anyone got their pin (any colour) after doing the ISEB course lately?

Regards

Ed

Are the pins available in the USA? I passed the Foundations exam in early Sept. 2007 and there was no mention of a pin.

I guess I will call my testing center tomorrow.

Folks at our organization that just went through the IPRC received their pin with the certification this week. Testing was administered through Exin with tests taken ~3 weeks ago.

My wife took and passed the Foundations test via Exin earlier this year. She said it took a month for Exin to mail her the pin and papers.

Cute looking pin btw. Very Happy

So it would seem as if the ISEB pins are not going out whereas the EXIN pins are - how annoying Sad

I would prefer to be able to flaunt my success, but can't. Oh Well......

Hi all,

I faxed my request for my ITIL Managers pin back in mid July after finding out our results, and it was posted within 2 weeks. That was to Brisbane Australia and the exam was through ISEB.

Thanks heaps
Antoni

I went through that process last spring and it worked..... besides the fact that my red pin looks pinkish but that'll just force me to make peace with my feminine side...

Just out of interest, does anyone actually wear their "Red Badge" on a daily basis?

Hmmmm....good question. Personally I don't. I rather prefer to display my certificate in my office on the wall rather than wear a badge.

Mine too is also a pinkish colour...not certain why this is the case...i thought they were suppose to be red. bad batch maybe??

I would if I could get them (I am entitled to 2 blues).

I also have my certificates on my office wall.

I found that in the beginning, when I was the only ITIL qualified person in the company, it helped massively with the profile.

I was constantly being asked what the badge was for. This gave me a starting point to start the education process.

Cheesy I know, but as they say ' Every little helps' ( this is a supermarket advert jingle)

Pins\badges do get sent out but, very infrequently and in batches. I had to wait months for mine (finally arrived August 2007 from examination in January). I would suggest anyone wanting one contacts:

itSMF Limited
150 Wharfedale Road
Winnersh Triangle
Wokingham
RG41 5RB
UK

Give them your candidate no and date of exam and they should be able to confirm you have earned the rights to your badge.

Almost everyone i know who has passed an ITIL examination has had to wait months for their badges. Don't know why they don't just attach it to the certificate!

itSMF is not the correct body to contact. Try ISEB
