I've noticed that it has got real quiet around here of late.
I am also unable to access the forums using IE, but I can access the forums using Firefox.
Is anyone else experiencing this? |

But don't you think its a bit quiet?
Do you keep stats of the number of posts per week? What are the stats looking like week on week? |

Visitor numbers are the same as ever. Maybe there is so much content here that newcomers have at last discovered the search facility. Not that there is anything we could do anyway to force people to talk. |

ITILadmin,
I notice that the page views for last weekend were the lowest two days so far this month by a considerable amount.
The question is, is swansong clairvoyant or just a provocateur
[don't worry about me: I was just passing an idle five minutes. I'm fine again now _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."

| Well... two days have to be the lowest two days of the month, so why not last weekend? We look at much longer periods for trends. |

I personally think it is the lunar cycle and the tree cycle that impacts this forum the most
During the right phase of the moon, the Grumpy Ole Gits like me snarl more
When the trees are in bloom, the nuts starting dropping (in)
also, as school - universities as well - are in session, we should also expect some questions closer to exam periods
Besides, I think - other than a few dead horse topics - we all have discussed things out
except for the new members
finally, the ulimtate answer is ...IT Depends _________________ John Hardesty

I'm sure I've said all that in other threads.
Hoist with my own petard!
But it was a nice coincidence with swansong's post. (neat not pretty - but then again pretty is sometimes used to mean much the same: okay it was a pretty coincidence)
John,
you take this far too seriously
But I'm not going to flog it any more. _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."
