Service Catalogue Training

A new boy here, so sorry if this has been raised by others (I did look!).

I have recently been given responsibility for developing (from scratch ) a Service Catalogue in our organisation.

Now, I have the Red Badge, so I am fairly familiar with the concept etc of the Service Catalogue, but I would be more comfortable with a bit more (specific) training on the subject.

So does anybody know of a training organisation that offers specific training on developing a Service Catalogue? I know this will not be ‘accredited training’, but if anybody knows of anything it would be much appreciated.

Oh – I am in the UK - so a UK based training company would be preferred, but I can travel if need be

Oh 2 – I am not interested in the SLM v2 Practitioner. In have been there and got that and there was not enough on the Service Catalogue for me.

There are a few companies that provide training specific to Service Catalogue development etc. Unfortunately most of these are associated with people trying to sell some sort of Service Catalogue tool (I have no idea what this actually does)!

The only company that I have encountered who provide this training, without trying to sell a tool etc are called ITIL-Seminars (Google it – and look through a couple of pages to find them). I have come across them a few times as they seem to specialise in delivering customised ‘in-house’ training. I had a look at their web site and it seems they offer a public schedule (some of it is out of date), so it might be a good starting point.

They always seemed ok to me –and they are UK based.
