Paul: The most common route is via a 'Prometric Test Centre', of which there are over 30,000 around the world.

To find your closest centre simply use the 'Locate a Test Centre' at www.prometric.com. The "client" is EXIN. The exam costs around US$125 I believe.

This is probably a good bet for those using one of the online training facilities (eg: www.itil-training.net ), but is suitable for anyone who has covered the material.
