Hi,

looking for a little advice. I have a few years experience of change, incident and problem management mainly in an analyst capacity as well as passing the Support and Restore Practitioner Exam.

Any advice what sort of role I should be aiming for next? I enjoy incident and problem more than change management so I'd prefer something related to those 2.

What's the next step? I'm not sure what sort of jobs I should be looking for next, or even if they'd come under IT or general management type roles!!!

First of all please define what is your few years of experience Smile

If you are looking for a more senior level: it can be any thing like : Service Desk Manager, Problem Manager, Change/Configuration manager etc. But with current climate it will be hard to get to those positions without 5-7+ years of experience plus other requirements as well.

So if you want a more holistic view then perhaps Service Level Management would be a natural progression.
