This forum is to discuss ITIL etc. The gurus/senior types - like myself - expect people to put a little effort before they come to the forum asking questions.

there is a vast difference between

I want to know all about ITIL. Give me the information

and

I want to know all about ITIL. I have gone to the following sites (list of sites).... but I dont know whether ITIL will benefit me as I am (describes job)

The first one did not spend any effort at all and wants all of the info presented to them - the reaction from the forum is swift and painful but not abusive

The second did spend time and effort and requires clarification. The forum's reaction will be different.
