How do I do this?
Ok.....so within the project lifecycle approach taken by my current employer I have included a Capacity Requirements slide (it's done in Powerpoint ).
Basically it asks for the volume of users, required storage (Server, File, DB), Server Volumes & Type, which site it is to be hosted, & all areas should be given for current, post-imp, & 3 years down the line.
Also with a small section to comment about licences mainly to ensure they have been factored in & not forgotten.
It appears even this is making people bang their heads against walls.....
I would appreciate your thoughts & comparisons to how you address this in your org.
