Elbow,
If you dont know.... why are you applying for the job ?
If any of us gives the details for the PPT, are we going to get the job
If not, are we then on the hook to assist you if you get the job and cant do the work _________________ John Hardesty

I have some ideas of course but wanted to check i was heading in the right direction. I like to think that every new job is a challenge otherwise why bother?
If you don't rise to meet them how do you improve and learn?
My CV is obviously good enough and i came here looking for some pointers from some helpful individuals passionate about what they do.
If anyonelse has any pointers, i would welcome them. Thankyou |

Elbow,
That is better.
Provide an idea of how you would here and the old timers - like me - will critique it.
That is the way you learn
If I tell you what to do, you dont learn
If you try yourself and get stuck, seek advice
A CV is merely a sheet of paper. It canfull of truths, half truths, exaggerations and even lies.
I am not saying that yours is
However, part of interview process is to separate the truths from the half truths or lies _________________ John Hardesty

I could take your place on the interview. I'd need an hour or two to sort out a presentation that coped with whether or not the organization actually understood what problem management was for. And the most important thing would be to establish what else they either didn't have (actually nothing - they already manage problems as well, or they would not be in business) or was inadequate to some degree.
John, don't shoot me if you think I've given too much away. _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."

| i am wondering if there is any set up at all and being concerned that they may have read somewhere that PM was something worth having but not fully undertsanding it's inputs and outputs too. I guess i should assume they have a fully functioning Service Management process in place and go with that. |
