I'm a newbie in this forum. Located in India and ITILv2 Foundation certified, I'm currently working in the incident management team in an MNC for the past 5 years. Now, I'm looking for a change in the profile and have got an offer for Incident Manager in another co. Does anybody have a fair idea as to what would be the industry standard salary package for Incident Manager with 5 years ITIL exp. in India (Bangalore)

There is no such thing as an industry standard salary for incident managers.
How could there be? - an incident manager might be a part time role for someone with three other roles; an incident manager might be the entire incident management and resolution resource for an organization; an incident manager might have the capacity to rope in resources from across the organization to deal with incidents; an incident manager might head a dedicated team to deal with all incidents; Incident Manager might be the job title of someone whose role is to manage each individual incident that is allocated to him or it might be the job title of someone responsible for the organization's incident management process(es) and who may or may not be expected to get his/her hands dirty dealing with actual incidents; an incident manager may be required to have a wide range of in-depth technical skills or very little technical depth, but an overall grasp of technical matters; ............................ etc. etc. etc. _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."
