Hi,
I'm struggling with the Service Transition process Evaluation and finding it hard to justify its existence as a separate process.
Surely strong Verification, SV&T, TP&S and R&DM not to mention a PIR covers off these activities.
I look forward to your replies!

Susan,
I refuse to even try to work out what all those acronyms are, but it seems to me that you must have identified a check list of what is required in "Evaluation" and then identified where in your organization (or your theoretical model) these activities are carried out (i.e. in the acronyms).
If so, then perhaps your checklist is the required process?
Don't forget that, unlike a procedure, a process has perspective. If you want to get from a to b, then you can design a process to do that. Or you can determine that a collection of already existing processes will get you there in all cases and that there is no added value in your bespoke process. _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."
