I am not a trainer nor do I work for a training company. What you should have done is contact an ITIL training company as they are the best people to answer your specific questions. While the members of this forum most likely know the answer and can most likely guess what the answer is, you should use your own initiative and use search tools and find a training company and ask them vice being lazy and merely post the question here
As for the Intermediate courses for ITIL v3, the following is usually the case
0 - you pay for the course
1 - you take the course
2 - as part of the course, you take the exam
3 - you get your exam score
4 - rinse, lather, repeat until pass the exam for this course
5 - rinse lather repeat for each course / exam
While you may think I am being harsh, what I will say is that if I was interested in the ITIL certification enough to consider the intermediate course, I would have found the 'official' web site and found out the correct standards for getting the certification and I would have contacted the official organizations about the certification.
this means to me and to most of the people on the forum who have been around - that you are seriously interested in ITIL, the certification etc - rather than just asking basic questions and expecting us to provide you with the information
.... wait ... I did that....
sigh
Now if you have a more detailed question about ITIL - processes. etc
Post them in the various forums about the question _________________ John Hardesty

John,
I agree that you are not the trainer or running a training institute and i dint ask my doubts to them...
i expect you ppl to share your ideas, if you really interested or if its be your cup of tea.. i knew many training centers and i already inquired them.
its not the right attitude to simply to scold someone as lazy who use the forum in a right way.. come on yaar.. instead of ur lengthy reply you can easily skip the part .. and that be the professional i believe.
may be i too harsh.. but its just a reply to your post.

Rajan,
you brought it on your own head.
John's first answer was complete in respect of your question. I'm surprised he was not upset by your follow up which seemed to question his first response.
It is also the case that this question has been asked several times in the last few months and all the answers (some detailed and some by experienced training providers) are available on the forum for you to seek out very easily. _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."

While I appreciate Diarmid defending me, your own response proves my point
You said you asked training companies
If you asked training companies that provide ITIL training and they answered you, you already have the answer that you require
if you dont like the answer they gave you, go to them and ask them differently _________________ John Hardesty
