The Data Center Operations Manager (DCOM) is in charge of the day-to-day activities of all contractor personnel. These activities include tasks such as managing activities surrounding resolution of incidents, service requests, and problems; creating new data repositories; maintaining storage and archive repositories; monitoring transaction logs, index files, and other document-associated files; and overseeing quality assurance procedures for library integrity. The DCOM manages all work necessary to maintain the operability and integrity of production databases on the Agency-wide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) production servers. In addition, the DCOM oversees the management and resolution of identified problems/errors (both known and unknown) and works to mature the environment from a reactive to a proactive response and analysis position.
