Ok, I apologize up front for asking what feels like a very stupid question.
How have people signed up to take the V3 intermediate exams? I'm ready to take the OSA exam, and for the life of me I can't find out how to register for it. Yes, I have the foundation cert, and have taken an approved OSA class. My training provider is offering to make all the arrangements for a fee. I've taken more than a few cert exams in the past, and this is the first time I've ever been stumped on how to sign up for a test! I have a list of places locally that supposedly administer the exam, but I can't sign up through them, and the couple of places that say they administer "all the Exin" exams turn out on closer inspection to only offer the foundation test. Also, how much do the intermediate exams cost?

Not a stupid question. Just one from ignorance. Ignorance is not a bad thing. it means I dont know.
For v3, other than the foudnation exam, you must take a course
before you can take the exam
The course can be a web based exam or e-learning or physical but you must take the course _________________ John Hardesty

I have completed an approved OSA course. I stated that in my original post, sorry if I wasn't clear. I've studied. I feel as ready as I'm going to be to actually take the exam. My difficulty is in figuring out how to register for the exam. My training vendor sent me a list of locations in the area (Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, USA) that supposedly will proctor the OSA exam, but only two of them are able to accept my registration - and those are the ones that upon inspection really only offer the foundation certification, which I already have. As I said above, my training vendor is offering to arrange everything for an additional fee, but I was hoping to do that myself and not pay for the hand-holding.
You must be put forward by the Training Provider. Are you sure thney are actually taking a fee on top? If you have an issue with what they are doing, contact EXIN (or whoever, if they are with another Examination Institute), and explain. Thay may be able to help. Otherwise, go with your Training Provider - the time you are spending on this research would be better spent on revision _________________ Liz Gallacher,

Thanks, Liz - that explains it. I had no idea the exam HAD to be arranged by the training provider. I assumed I could schedule it myself as I've done with other cert tests, including the foundation test. Now everything makes sense.
