Cisco is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager who is a technically savvy project manager and is able to provide excellent customer service, with an eye for identifying potential problem areas before they arise. The candidate must feel comfortable with, and remain calm in the face of uncertainty, rapid change, and aggressive deadlines common to rapidly growing companies with evolving business models.

This project-related technical position will be responsible for the implementation of medium - large infrastructure projects within the production network.

Translate technical objective into actionable project plan and execute. Work closely with internal customers. Requires 8+ years of experience in IP networking, infrastructure project planning and implementation, customer interface and process development. Technical writing experience helpful.

This individual will track all aspects of a given project; from the requirements gathering phase through to implementation; will communicate progress, issues, and status to all relevant parties.

Skills and Qualifications:

- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent. MBA desired
- PMI certified
- Current CCNA certification, ITIL certification desired
- Working experience with IPv6 address space – implementation; migration
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to understand complex technical operations environments, communicate issues and solution approaches to all levels of the organization are imperative to success in this position
- Ability to handle multiple assignments of competing priorities and work them through to an effective resolution
- 24x7 availability; Experience in a production operations environment, such as NOCs.
- Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, storage/SA/data protection experience, thorough understanding of how a data center is built and how they are connected (inter/intra)
