Hi,
I am quite a newbie to this forum . But did find it rather informative and helpful reading other posts in the forum
I have a question pertaining to my skill-sets. currently i am in to Information Technology professional with over 11 years of IT Industry experience with superior knowledge of Problem Management, Incident Management, ITIL Service Management, Change Management.
I have demonstrated experience working in mission critical service desk/help desk environments and have strong conceptual knowledge of technical aspects of all layers within an IT environment.
ITIL Certifications include ITIL Foundation Certification (v3), 2008. Currently pursuing International M.B.A from UBI( BRUSSELS,BELGIUM)
I have got a role from a reputed MNC who is offering me a role as being an SM- incident manager. My query being will this job take me any further on my career front of being a project lead or a project manager. Wont i get stangnated. please help me with this concern. currently my role is consultant- Hosting team. kindly advise me if this is a good role to tke up to climb the management ladder in future.
