One of the SIP has initiated to change the application from one of the Pserver to another Pserver for consolidation...
We have got all the approvals for the same. We have started doing activity and found that one of the hardware ( cable) is faulty and we have replaced it with the another hardware. Afterwards we have completed the change implementation successfully.
We have marked this change as the successful with problems..
My question is whether this change consider as failed change or not...

please search this site. There is at least one very comprehensive treatment of the nature of success and failure in changes. I don't have the time right now to recapitulate, but the first thing to worry about and determine is what you need the categorizations for. From that you can work out how to categorize things. _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."
