Which one of the following is the BEST description of the purpose of the service operation stage of the service lifecycle?

A. To decide how IT will engage with suppliers during the service lifecycle
B. To proactively prevent all outages to IT services
C. To design and build processes which will meet business needs
D. To deliver and manage IT services at agreed levels to business users and customers

E - The members of the ITIL Community Forum does not answer exam questions - ever. While the members will discuss the choice made by the poster, the members feel that answering the question for the poster robs the poster of the education process

"Service lifecycle" is such a pretentious phrase. Still, it's not as bad as "project lifecycle".

I think Sharon it must be "D" as SO meant to deliver agreed service to the end customer also abiding SLA strictly.
