Hello all!

I have a friend at work who is interested in becoming ITIL certified.

The Business Manager of training for ITIL they have spoken with said people with no prior exposure can clear the certification successfully if they go through the online courseware for 8-10 days before class.

Obviously each person is different, but can anyone provide their feedback on whether or not 8-10 days is a realistic prep time period?

Thank you!

As the Foundation course is not required, any idjit can study the Foundation study guide and pass the Foundation exam

the other exams require a course - class room or online course - which equate to about 30- 40 hours of training

so theoretically it is possible that by some luck, the person passes all of the exams to get the ITIL Expert certification.. but ....

It would also explain why there are so many clueless idiots with ITIL Expert certification
