Hi all,

Anybody out there know where I might be able to find Config Management templates for HP Openview to address CIs for midrange servers (Solaris, Netware and Windows 2003 are all flavours we need)?

Failing that, does anybody know of an open source tool that might be able to address a similar need, and perhaps also be able to export CMDB info in XML format?

We're implementing Openview here, but we want to get a head start on the Config Mgmt stuff well ahead of the timetable that's currently planned for Config. Ideally I'd like to be prototyping a CMDB solution now that my poject can start populating to prove the concepts, and then be able to export the info collected into Openview when the HP tool becomes available to us. Alas, it's another projects job to deliver that toolset, but our project really can't wait for it.

Thanks in advance.

S.
