Hi all,

Does anyone know of any generic templates that might be available for CI items that are meant to describe midrange servers (including Solaris, Netware and Windows 2003 variants) for use within HP Openview's CMDB?

Also does anyone know of open-source CMDB tools that may be available that might enable a prototype CMDB data model to be constructed?

I'm part of a project that's trying to get a head start on Config Mgmnt because we need it right now.

We have another project that is charged with implementing Openview as our overall toolset, but Config Mgmt and a CMDB are not where their early focus is going to be.

thanks in advance.
