Hi All,

I am very new to this forum. Is there anyone implemented ITIL for a batch support team. What are the various services that can be offered .

Does supporting DR part of production support team.

can we use ITIL methodologies for supporting non prod work. Is the same teams supporting development environment can have access to prod allowed in ITIL?

First, you don't implement ITIL.

ITIL is just good advice on how to do IT Service Management... well.

ITIL states have policies, processes and procedures that should guide you.

A service is a service - it does not matter whether it is non production or production.

If you have giving an IT environment with a database to an organisation .. you have to support them .. unless they do all that.

That said, the priority and urgencys for non Production will be less than in Production
