Hi All,

I have a question about where business applications sit within a service catalogue.

Lets say you have two levels of information in the service catalog E.g. Level 1 Service Category, Level 2 Service Name.

When it comes to function specific business applications, would you list them as a service under a certain category or an IT system that relates to a service?

For example, lets say a certain main business application called abc system was used for a number of different core business functions within the organisation and the IT department hosted and provided support, maintenance and development services for this application.

How would you include this in your catalogue i.e. as a service or a system that relates to a service?
