Hi all
Does anybody here utilise any tool that is capable to provide an enterprise scale model of IT services, including all the layers as infrastructure, applications, processes, services.
To my understanding, ITIL is all about services and processes, so there must be software that provides not only CMDB of Service Desk capability, but is able to describe all the processes that enable service delivery, so that it would be possible to have a holistic picture of how all elements of the organisation participate in service delivery, to see from the service catalogue level down to the infrastructure level which components and how are involved in the service delivery.
And further more, that tool should link IT services catalogue further up to business processes and business functions level.
The idea is to have a comprehensive model of the enterprise architecture, which would allow to see the relations between technology, processes and data.
