I am looking for a white paper or similar information on quantitative differences between companies that have/have not implemented ITIL or parts of it.
I realize that it is hard to generalize because companies are very different in a number of ways, but it should be possible to quantify for instance
* Number of support staff required to solve a spesific number of defined incidents
* Number of average unauthorized changes compared to total number of changes
* Capacity underusage compared to overall IT spendage
and so on. Such a white paper would probably just compare a number of different companies, without trying to establish an industry average, but the trend whould probably be possible to establish.
