I have a position that needs to be filled. I am looking for someone with hands-on experience with Financial Information Exchange and other vended trading applications such as Charles River, Longview, Marron, Predator, etc. I have added a description of the position. Trading System Administrator
Responsible for system configuration management - setting up of operational parameters, configuring workflow, designing custom reports and queries.
Responsible for day to day end user support of Charles River Investment Management System.
Responsible for system integration testing and for organizing user acceptance testing new releases and new workflows.
Required:
Hands-on Experience with vended trading applications (Charles River preferred, also longview, marron, predator, etc)
Experience with FIX interfaces - supporting, configuring, implementing, testing.
Experience diagnosing and documenting software problems in real-time.
Experience developing user requirements documentation.
Not required, but beneficial:
Hands on Experience supporting Charles River Trading platform
Experience coding SQL queries (Sybase, Oracle, MSSQL) and query performance tuning.
Business Domain Expertise - Portfolio management, Securities trading, Buy Side; program trading, quantitative and index fund management, futures trading.
Bonus Credit:
Exceptionally qualified candidates who have leadership or management experience may be considered as a potential for a lead role within the support team.
Minimum of 3 years experience in gathering and analyzing user requirements, develops test plans and user guides, oversees acceptance testing, provides user training, and supports users in the development of work processes. Works under the direction of a team leader or project manager.
