CI vent

Relationships and attributes, used to help CHM understand risk and impact... but when i have so many layers, so many relationships, how the heck to i ever get anything done. 8O

Definition of a normal change.

Have been writing some doco and seem to be stuck on what to say here.

Just wondering what others "define" a normal change as....

I know what ITIL says, but i am after some ...... client facing words.. hahaha..

I know what it is in my mind, but when i type it out.. it just sounds so regimental.

Mmmm templates....

Do you still give it a unique id or just a flow on .1, .2, .3 + so on number.

Maybe cause i lock my templates i am causing myself heartache.

Said changes are given Pre/Stnd approval, you still give them a change number (id, etc... whatever), they don’t go to ...
