Hello Ladies & Gents, Any of you going for the ITIL Masters? The scope provided on the Official website is a bit vague and would like to enquire about the Work Packages, Do's and Dont's and the experience of presenting it to the committee. Sonia,

The 4-eye principle with changes, means that all change approvals or in your scenario, the change implementation has to be authorised from Senior Managers usually the CEO, CIO or Directors.

This however is not a best practice.

Jaxx, why are you complicating things with X's, Y's and A's. You are making the puzzle in you head. According to what I understood from the details you provided. the issue is simple, just follow best practice, create an SLA between Company A & B(Read more about SLA's to see what contents they includ...

ITSM Curious, is this saving the business some money? if yes then I don't see what's the problem with that. They are fully utilizing the tool to cut down costs(Capcity Managment). As UK said, ITIL should be tailored its a best practice not a standard so dont take everything you read in the books and...

Well, if you have the budget then I suggest you try some simulators. This could be an affective way of presenting the value of Change Management to the team, if not then just give some scenarios and ask them to fill the change requests for those and then evaluate it and tell them what they did right...

Chasing, Lets go back to the good old days, where no tools were around. First of all before you start training, check if there is a documented change management process in place? if yes then check if it needs re-engineering if no then work with that team to create one which will be tailored to there...
