Diarmid thanks for the reply, your replies are always useful. I understand your argument against the approach of setting up the categories first but am unclear what you mean in regards to me talking about these incidents breaching for "various reasons". Are you suggesting that I start of analysing t...

Hi Michael, thanks for you comments, I do in fact like nice shiny badges but that wasn't the main reason.

I was thinking if I go for managers I would be as well bridging over to v3 expert as well.

I thinking v2 managers to start with and then see about the expert.

Thanks again.

v2 or v3

Hi I am thinking of trying for my ITIL Expert accreditation but am not sure whether to go for v2 and bridging or whether to go for the v3 intermediate option. I quite fancy the v3 option as I could spread the cost and time (I'm a contractor) over a year. Also is there a date when v2 will be phased o...

Problem v's Incident

Hi I'm new to this board and was wondering if someone could help me with defining the difference between an Incident and a Problem. I would define it as follows but just want to check if anyone has any other definitions as seen a few out there. An incident is a single event that causes disruption to...
