Ooops! You are a "consultant"! Sorry didn't see that.

Well if a consultant cannot find the information through any other means than this forum, then surely the information is beyond the mortal man.

Hi

I hope this response is prompt enough for you.

I haven't a clue how to define the info you request. However what i would do is employ a consultant who you would assume would have the relevant skills, experience and intelligence to provide the info.

I have the ITIL logo tattooed on my back. The OGC were happy with this and confirmed that it did not breach any copyright laws. The only caveat was the tattoo had to be classy. FYI - The tattoo consists of an image of loads of developers cowering in fear as the ITIL logo is thrust down from Asgard b...

Is it a bit quiet around here?

I've noticed that it has got real quiet around here of late.

I am also unable to access the forums using IE, but I can access the forums using Firefox.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I trust this question is a continuation of your recent posts regarding change management and your new position as a change manager in an apps support team.
If this is the case, why not go to the person who employed you and ask them how they want you to perform in the role?

Your SLA measures performance of a service against agreed targets. What targets are you attempting to measure? In your example, does your SLA measure the response of the ICT service desk to restore a service (by supplying the laptop), or does your SLA measure a permanent fix to the problem (indicate...

I do not know of the document of which you speak (does it exist?), but i can assure you that ITIL does not provide any "approved" operational documents.

I think you need to determine your requirements and generate this yourself.

A number of years ago I attended a traning provider sponsored event to introduce ITIL3 into the market. The presenter at this event mentioned that although ITIL was originally designed to be IT centric, V3 would be the first step to a more generic service management set of disciplines. He also confi...
