PS: I want to go back and retest the same questions above, say 6-9 months later to see what has stuck and what hasn't.

Below are some questions I'm thinking of posing at the end of this training. All Org Change stuff. Thoughts? Remember that this is initial awareness of ITSM and our program of change. 1 = strongly disagree...scale through to...5 = strongly agree Statements We cannot continue without IT Service Manag...

Easy answer is to get your employer to pay for your course. Also, and this is just a personal opinion of mine, but nobody should be allowed to do an MBA until they have 10+ years industry experience. Snotty-nosed rich kids only serve to detract from the value of an MBA, as do business schools who ac...

I own all of the v3 core books anmd the little intro book. Does this mean that I am supposed to shell out another A$700 for the update or is this a "free bugfix".

Hopefully the latter.

Anyone know?

PS:

Organisationally, I report to the Chief Operations Officer who reports to our CEO but spend my time evenly spread working with Client Engagement (Portfolio/Demand Mgt), our Strategy group, our Human Capital folks (HR), Service Transition (incl PMO) and Finance, as our Operations people.

Some organisations invest in Process Improvement groups. I'm the Business Improvement & Process manager for a Gov shared ICT services provider with 5 staff. We also have a Service Mgt group with 10 people (Major Incident Mgrs, Enterprise Problem & Change etc). We have 320 staff in total and are grow...

Foundation cert is honestly no big deal and unlikely to differentiate you for middle mgt jobs. You'll have to do better than that mate - go get your v2 Managers cert or some v3 lifecycle and/or capability modules.
