Hi Alinux,
The answer is in what you will want to do in the future.
MBA, PMP and ITIL (probably Expert level) are in different area and the courses have different effort.
ITIL is the methodology in IT Service Management area.
PMP is a certification based on PMBoK and it is in Project Management area.
MBA is a qualification in General Management.
In witch area do you would like go? Now you work in IT sector and the short step is go to ITSM or PM.
The effort are very different between PMP, ITIL Expert or MBA. For take the PMP certification you must do a course about 5-6 days long and do a lot of self study. After, you could think about PrMP certification.
The first step to became ITIL Expert is take ITIL Foundation certification (you could do a 3 days course or in self study), the others steps are 4 or 5 courses (you couldn’t use self study) and exams on Intermediate level (about 4 days for each courses).
The MBA is very different, you have two possibilities a full time and a part time MBA (usually called Executive MBA). This kind of course is general not specific in IT. In the same classroom you could have persons from ICT, Manufacturing, Financial, Automotive, etc. and many different rules: Consultant, Manager, CEO, CIO, etc.. The full time MBA usually is one year long and part time is two years long. This kind of course is quite expensive, not less of 30.000,00 euro but you easily arrive to more 100.000,00 euro in an important business school. In Italy for a MBA is very important the school where you go. Easily you could find on Internet the world wide top ten or the list of the business schools in your country.
In General Management you have another possibility. The business schools do some courses on specific area (for example General Management, Marketing Management, Brand Management, etc.); these courses are more short, 5-10 days ore more and they are less expensive.
The choice between the three areas isn’t easy, probably ITSM or PM is more near to your actual job but the MBA or EMBA is a step to the top management, but this isn’t the only key to become a CEO.
Kind regards
Andrea

ITIL is a four letter acronym, that's one more than PMP of MBA so it's got to be better right?

I did have the blue bird of hapiness in my hands once
The d**n bird cr*pped in my hand
So I beat the poor thing with my rose coloured glasses

Based on your career goal. This is my suggestion for you:
Do your PMP to acquire project management skills
Simulataneously do ITIL foundations to learn about ITIL. A manager should be well versed in processes to satisfy his job responsibility of improving the processes.
All the best. Happy learning
